Supporting regional development - the REGIO Walsertal
The legal entity of the Biosphere Park Grosses Walsertal is the Verein Regionalplanungsgemeinschaft (REGIO) Grosses Walsertal [Grosses Walsertal regional planning association]. The Main Committee of REGIO also functions as the Biosphere Reserve's Board of Trustees, and is therefore the decision-making body for strategic planning in the Biosphere Reserve. The subcommittees of REGIO have a technical advisory function and prepare project recommendations for the Board.
