The area around the Hahnenkopf on the northern edge of the biosphere park, believe it or not, contains 150 plant species. Especially spectacular is the heavily protected Turk’s cap. It belongs to the lily family, grows up to one meter in height and blooms from June to the beginning of August.
Starting position for both paths is the Mid-station of the Stafelalpe chair lift in Faschina.
