Tour description
The popular local recreation area above Nüziders and Bludenz shows its artistic side. Eight renowned artists have created their works on a circular trail - each station unique, characterized by individual perspectives on life in the mountains. Sometimes the works are visible from afar, sometimes they catch the eye right by the wayside or blend into nature almost unnoticed.

For one day, the Alpengasthof Muttersberg will be transformed into a colorful creative lab for young artists. - Art Gondola on Muttersberg, starting in fall 2026
In this way, you can experience art again and again - in the changing seasons, in the interplay of light and weather. The Alpine Art Muttersberg combines these special impressions with an easy hike through an impressive landscape. The starting point is the Muttersbergbahn mountain station, from where the signs will show you the way.
The Alpine Art Trail on Muttersberg has gained new artistic additions: On October 2, 2025, two new works were officially unveiled. The pieces were created as part of an art competition, from which the works “The Wolf Has Returned” by Wolf Georg and “Serpentinata” by Janine Rogen emerged. With these two new additions, the Alpine Art Hiking Trail on Muttersberg now features a total of eight works of art that uniquely blend art and nature.
