Climbing in the Bürs Gorge
Climbing dream in the Bürs Gorge: From challenging routes and historic rock faces.
The special thing about climbing in Brandnertal is its incredible variety. In the Bürser Schlucht climbing garden, you grip the unique Bürser conglomerate, while on the Saulakopf via ferrata, you tower high above the impressive limestone walls of the Rätikon. The Kellenegg is perfect for a relaxed afternoon climb, and on rainy days, the Klimmerei bouldering hall offers the ideal alternative. Living in this region means always finding the right challenge to satisfy my climbing heart.
Climbing tip from our neighbors: Saulakopf via ferrata
The Saulakopf Via Ferrata in Montafon offers an unforgettable adventure with varied passages, breathtaking views, and a summit experience at 2,517 meters. This highlight for climbing enthusiasts requires surefootedness, a head for heights, and endurance (difficulty level: D/E).
Due to the ongoing dry conditions, a wildfire prevention ordinance is in effect throughout Vorarlberg. Open fires, smoking and barbecuing are strictly prohibited, particularly near forests and in shoreline areas. Please remain especially vigilant and treat nature with care. Even a small spark can start a fire. Note for mountain bikers: Do not place your bike in dry grass after long descents. Hot brake discs can ignite dry vegetation.
Thank you for your cooperation. If you see smoke or suspect a fire, please call the fire brigade immediately on 122.
