From the mountain station of the Sonnenkopf cable car the marked winter hiking trail leads past the mountain restaurant Sonnenkopf to the summit cross Muttjöchle. Along the way you will find cozy winter benches that invite you to linger.

Arrived at the Muttjöchle, you have an impressive panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. The way back leads along the same path. A stop at the mountain restaurant Sonnenkopf is worth it!

Sonnenkopf cable car valley station - ascent with the Sonnenkopf cable car - Sonnenkopf cable car mountain station - winter hiking trail towards Muttjöchle - Muttjöchle mountain restaurant - Muttjöchle, 2,074 m - same route back.

Sturdy shoes, warm clothing and walking sticks are recommended. Cell phone in case of emergency.

On the way back, stop at the Sonnenkopf mountain restaurant - a breathtaking view and excellent cuisine await you! With good binoculars you can also observe ibex and chamois on the opposite mountain world direction Rote Wand.
