Alpine fire at the Mittagspitze

On August 7th the traditional bonfire takes place at the Damüls Mittagsspitze. As darkness falls, around 9:00 p.m., the large wood stack on the summit will be ignited, creating an impressive light spectacle amidst the mountains.

A special highlight is the torch parade, which starts at around 9:40 p.m. The Berggasthof Elsenalpstube offers the perfect view to enjoy the bonfire in a cozy atmosphere.

The Uga Express will be operating that evening from 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Guests with the Bregenzerwald & Großes Walsertal guest card can use the train for free.

Please note that there is no guided tour or event, and no supervision is provided. The bonfire takes place only in good weather conditions.
